We met you back in 1993 when we knew you as “Katrina’s Bali Weddings”.  You arranged our wedding at the Amankila Resort on 29th December 1993.  We must have been one of the originals.

It was the second time round for both of us, so we decided to do it all on our own without our families … and over 17 years later we both have such very fond memories of what you did for us that day.  It was perfect. 

 

The ceremony at the temple overlooking the ocean,  Having the Amankila poolside completely to ourselves for a private dinner (complete with Gamelan Orchestra and the pool ringed by candles) . Being introduced to “Stormy Mondays” (even though today I insist on calling them “Stormy Fridays”) 

We even had the pleasure of your dad playing family, taking photos and capturing the moment like a professional photographer never could.

And here we are, over 17 years later, planning on bringing our eldest son, Josh, to Bali for his 21st birthday.  How the time has flown!  

 

I don’t think you ever met Josh.  He didn’t attend the wedding, but instead joined us a couple of days later for a “family style” honeymoon.

 

It looks from your website like the business has really grown!  Based on all that you did for us your success is certainly deserved.   

 

Anyhow, I thought it might be cool to catch up for a drink.  We will be in Bali in September 2011.

Dear Katrina,

Even after 17 years, Ed and I still have the fondest memories of our wedding at the Santrian Beach Resort in Sanur in April 1994.  For the two of us, it was the perfect wedding!

We arrived without guests, and Berman and you so graciously acted as our witnesses.  The outdoor garden, the music, the beautifully decorated dais, the colorful Balinese dress, and all the colors and smells of Bali made it truly special and memorable.

This past July we returned to Bali with our 15 and 16 year old sons.  It is still a beautiful place and it was wonderful to relive our old memories and show our sons where our life as a family got its start.

We are truly grateful that fate brought us to you and we are appreciative of the work it took to make our wedding one to remember!

Dear Katrina,

 

We were married by Bali Weddings International back in May, 2002 at the Maya Resort, Ubud.

 

Next year we will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary and it has definitely been a very happy and memorable path for us both. We now have a family with two beautiful children yet our wedding day only seems like yesterday. The professional services provided to us by Bali Weddings International will never be forgotten and how our special day went perfectly well according to plan. Katrina, both yourself and staff did a wonderful job and we would like to thank you again.
